Personal customers

  • 1Log into db easyNET. If you have used SMScodes, continue. If you have used a TAN card, provide a mobile phone number to receive SMScodes from Santander Bank Polska.
  • 2Start activation of access to Santander online services with SMScode or db easyNET TAN card.
  • 3You will be directed to Santander Bank Polska website.
  • 4Assign your own PIN to log into Santander Bank Polska online and mobile banking and confirm it with SMScode.
  • 5Provide your e-mail address. Regulations will be e-mailed to that address. Please read the regulations. In addition, you can agree to sign the Agreement on electronic contact channel (ECC)] and to being contacted by phone for marketing purposes.
  • 6Please read the Agreement on Santander online services for personal customers and the remaining documents (Agreement to receive electronic communications (Electronic Channel of Communication)) if you have given your consent to it and powers of attorney if you granted them in Deutsche Bank Polska). Enter the smsCode to conclude the Agreement on Santander online services for personal customers.
  • 7Download the document with a new NIK (Customer Identification Number). You can use your db easyNET login interchangeably.
  • 8Log into the internet banking with your new NIK or Deutsche Bank Polska login and the new password (PIN) you have set. Minor customers will not be able to log into Santander online without the consent of their statutory representative (which can be given by calling helpline, with the Advisor, at the bank branch).

  • from 1 October 2018 free-of-charge cash withdrawals from ATMs of Santander Bank Polska are available to holders of debit cards issued by Deutsche Bank Polska.

db easyNET electronic banking services are replaced by the electronic banking services of Santander Bank Polska.

 

Electronic banking services of Santander Bank Polska

db easyNET electronic banking services for personal customers are replaced by Santander online. Once you activate the service, you will be able to bank via the internet and mobile application and use a range of handy features, in particular:

  • check the balance of all your accounts and credit cards, and view your account history and account or card statements;
  • make transfers, including instant transfers, available 24/7 (BlueCash, Express Elixir);
  • top up mobile phones of the top mobile operators in Poland;
  • set up a Trusted Profile and file an application under the Rodzina 500 Plus child benefit programme without the need to visit an office;
  • opt for paperless correspondence, by choosing the electronic contact channel, with messages sent to your inbox in the Santander internet platform and the mobile application;
  • buy or sell currency via internet or mobile banking using the Kantor Santanderforeign exchange platform;
  • sign up for products without the need to visit a branch (savings accounts, term deposit accounts, foreign currency accounts, credit cards, credit facilities and insurance).

If you have been appointed as an authorised user of electronic banking services by another user (e.g. a grandparent or a spouse) or you are going to additionally use Mini Firma or Moja Firma plus, you will be able to switch between the profiles on Santander internet using a drop down list next to your name and surname (on the left under the menu). Find out how it works.

Personal accounts and debit cards

  • account numbers, card expiry dates and PIN codes will not change;
  • personal accounts will be re-named;
  • there will be new functionalities for payment cards in Santander online: change of transaction limits, card cancellations, blocking and unblocking;
  • cards blocked for wrong PIN entry will not be unblocked automatically. Cards can be unblocked via electronic banking service and/or the helpline;
  • a lost card will be automatically replaced by a new one, with the same functionalities and expiry date;
  • debit cards will be replaced by cards with the Santander logo, with terms and conditions unchanged. Upon expiry, cards will be renewed as Santander Bank Polska cards.

Credit cards

  • interest rates on credit cards, card expiry dates and PIN codes will not change
  • all credit cards will be re-named: the abbreviation “db” will be removed;
  • account numbers for credit card repayments will change. Repayment will be duly posted even when an old account number is provided;
  • there will be new functionalities in Santander online: change of transaction limits, card cancellations, blocking and unblocking, splitting debt repayment into instalments;
  • a lost card will be automatically replaced by a new one, with the same functionalities and expiry date;
  • upon expiry, cards will be renewed as Santander Bank Polska cards.

Loans

Excluding FX mortgage loans and mortgage loans converted to PLN, which remain in Deutsche Bank Polska.

  • terms and conditions of concluded loan agreements will not change, however, lombard loans or overdrafts in Bank Investment Accounts will not be available. There will be no option to seek an extension;
  • the fee for credit limit renewal/ administration will be charged one day later than before;
  • the date of accruing and collecting interest on overdrafts will change. If the last day of a month is a non-business day, interest will be charged on the preceding business day.

Savings accounts

  • interest rates on saving accounts will not change;
  • all savings accounts will be re-named;
  • the Schedule of fees and charges collected by Santander Bank Polska S.A. for banking services provided to personal customers will be simplified: e.g. you will be able to make one free-of-charge savings account transaction per month, regardless of the place and form of transaction order.

Term deposit accounts

  • interest rates on term deposit accounts will not change until maturity/renewal
  • term deposit accounts will be re-named but the core parameters such as interest rate or dates will not be changed;
  • deposits will be renewed automatically, on conditions applicable at Santander Bank Polska.

Frequently asked questions

Below are answers to frequently asked questions concerning the integration of the demerged part of Deutsche Bank Polska with Santander Bank Polska

1. What does the ”transfer of the carved out business of Deutsche Bank Polska S.A. to Santander Bank Polska S.A” mean?

It means a process by which Santander Bank Polska S.A. will step into all rights and obligations of the carved out business of Deutsche Bank Polska S.A. upon the registration of Deutsche Bank Polska S.A. division by the registry court. The operational integration i.e. transfer of Customers’ products will take place simultaneously with the registration of the changes. The carved out business of Deutsche Bank Polska S.A. will encompass retail banking (including private banking), business banking (including SMEs) and the network of branches, agents, intermediaries and partners, as well as DB Securities S.A.

2. When will I be transferred?

On November 10, 2018 provided the division of Deutsche Bank Polska S.A. is registered by the appropriate registry court on November 9, 2018.

3. Why do the terms and regulations change?

The purpose of the changes is mainly to unify and align the regulations of Deutsche Bank Polska S.A. with the (IT) system solutions of Santander Bank Polska S.A. As a result, Customers will have continuous and unrestricted access to bank products and services when they become Customers of Santander Bank Polska S.A.

4. What will be the main changes affecting me after the transfer to Santander Bank Polska S.A?

a. The current product offer will include exclusively the banking products of Santander Bank Polska S.A.

b. In order to use new banking products Customers will have to sign agreements with Santander Bank Polska S.A.

c. You will be able to use the mobile and online banking platforms and all branches of Santander Bank Polska S.A., as well as the helpline of Santander Bank Polska S.A.

Things that will not change include:

d. Numbers of bank accounts of the transferred products (with the exception of accounts for the repayment of credit cards and FX loans sanctioned by Deutsche Bank Polska S.A.) and card numbers, validity dates and PIN codes.

e. Fees and charges will not be increased.

f. Interest rates on personal accounts, term deposits, credit cards and loans.

g. Terms of repayment and service of PLN mortgage loans transferred to Santander Bank Polska S.A.

h. Provision of services involving acceptance and transmission of mutual fund orders.

Santander Bank Polska (formerly Bank Zachodni WBK) and Santander Consumer Bankare both members of Santander Group but they are two independent entities operating under separate banking licences. Neither of the banks offers or services products of the other bank, even in the case of customers using the services of both banks. Their product offers and pricing policies are prepared independently.

Santander Bank Polska, as a universal bank,offers its products and services to retail and business clients, as well as international corporations. In turn, just as to-date, Santander Consumer Bank will focus on consumer loans and offer credit facilities through a network of branches and business partners.

Santander Bank Polska offers you access to mobile banking from your smartphone. You only need to download the Santander mobile application from an app store (Google Play and App Store) in order to enjoy the following features:

check your account balance, make transfers between your accounts or transfers to other beneficiaries; sign up for a mobile card to make payments as with a regular card (for users of smartphones with NFC);

withdrawcash from ATMs, pay for shopping and make mobile transfers without knowing the beneficiary’s account number (via the BLIK payment system*);

manage all your cards, e.g. set or reset your PIN, cancel a card or change transaction limits;

Starting from 10 September 2018, you will receive information about the electronic banking services of Santander Bank Polska dedicated to your company via db easyNET or db powerNET.

Mini Firma Moja Firma Plus iBiznes24

The following products were transferred to Santander Bank Polska:

  • Retail Banking and Private Banking products except for mortgage loans in currencies other than PLN (including those originally granted in a foreign currency and converted into PLN), as well as loans in PLN secured by the same collateral as mortgage loans in currencies other than PLN.

  • by 9 May 2019, all cards of Deutsche Bank Polska will be renewed as, or replaced with cards offered by Santander Bank Polska;
  • in the Mini Firma/ Moja Firma plus/ iBiznes24 services , transactions will be authorised using codes sent in text messages (smsKod) to a pre-defined mobile phone number, or using a new token;
  • you will be able to place instructions to make transfers and open term deposit accounts via the electronic banking services, via the mobile application, or at the branches of Santander Bank Polska. It will no longer be possible to do that via the helpline (Teleserwis);
  • the SWIFT code (BIC) applicable to international transfers will change to WBKPPLPPXXX.

The electronic banking services of Deutsche Bank Polska will be replaced by the electronic banking services of Santander Bank Polska.

 

Mini firma

Mini Firma is an electronic banking service that enables small companies to manage their finances online.

As a user of Mini Firma, you will be able to:

  • access information about accounts, balances and history (also from the mobile application);
  • make domestic and cross-border transfers and transfers to the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) and Tax Office (also from the mobile application);
  • make batch transfers and manage them in a convenient way;
  • set up a Trusted Profile without having to visit an office (only sole traders or partners in general partnerships);
  • grant access to Mini Firma to max 5 persons;
  • exchange currency between FX accounts with Santander Bank Polska via the Kantor Santander exchange platform, from 8 am to 9 pm (also available from the mobile application);
  • order additional products, such as a term deposit account (also available from the mobile application) or a savings account, or apply for a loan.

If you have been appointed as an authorised user of electronic banking services by another user, or you are going to have multiple access to Mini Firma, or you are also going to use the Moja Firma plus services, you will be able to switch between the profiles in the electronic banking services using a drop down list next to your name and surname (on the left under the menu). Santander Bank Polska kindly informs you that pursuant to 12 § 17(1)(d) of the General terms and conditions of agreements on access to electronic banking services in Deutsche Bank Polska S.A.(General Terms and Conditions), on 12 November 2018 the General Terms and Conditions will be replaced by Mini Firma electronic banking terms and conditions.

Moja Firma plus

Moja Firma plus is a service which enables medium and large companies to manage their finances online.

Apart from standard features, Moja Firma plus allows users to:

  • make domestic and cross-border transfers, transfers to the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) and Tax Office and payroll transfers;
  • make batch transfers and manage them in a convenient way;
  • secure their transfer with dual authorisation;
  • manage users’ rights to access accounts, make operations and use limits;
  • exchange currency between FX accounts with Santander Bank Polska via the Kantor Santander exchange platform, from 8 am to 9 pm (also available from the mobile application) upon signing an agreement at a branch;
  • export and import data to/from other systems used by the company (transfers, payee’s details, MT940 statements);
  • open and close term deposit accounts.

The users of the mobile application may additionally manage their cards, open or close term deposit accounts, instruct batch transfers set up in Moja Firma plus internet and make transfers pre-defined in Moja Firma plus internet to the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) and Tax Office.

If you have been appointed as an authorised user of electronic banking services by another user, or you are going to have multiple access to Moja Firma plus, or you are also going to use the Mini Firma services, you will be able to switch between the profiles in the electronic banking services using a drop down list next to your name and surname (on the left under the menu. Santander Bank Polska kindly informs you that:

  • pursuant to 12 § 17(1)(d) of the General terms and conditions of agreements on access to electronic banking services in Deutsche Bank Polska S.A.General Terms and Conditions), on 12 November 2018 the General Terms and Conditions will be replaced by Moja Firma plus electronic banking terms and conditions;
  • pursuant to 9 § 2(b) of the General terms and conditions of the agreement on access to electronic banking services via the db powerNET system in Deutsche Bank Polska S.A. (General Terms and Conditions of db powerNet), on 12 November 2018 the General Terms and Conditions of db powerNET will be replaced by Moja Firma plus electronic banking terms and conditions.

iBiznes24

As a user of iBiznes24, you will be able to:

  • make operations in relation to multiple members of one group of companies in one place;
  • access information about accounts and balances (also from the mobile application);
  • make domestic and cross-border transfers and transfers to the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) and Tax Office (also from the mobile application);
  • make batch transfers and manage them in a convenient way;
  • manage standing orders, payroll transfers, term deposit accounts and direct debits;
  • import/export data from/to financial and accounting systems in various formats, with an option to create own templates;
  • register transfers in an easy and fast way thanks to transfer templates and counterparty databases;
  • manage counterparty databases, transfer templates and the reporting module with the Report Creator;
  • contact the bank using the options available in the Customer Service tab (mailbox, chat, e-requests).

The system is managed by the Administrator, whose role is limited to cancelling and restoring user rights The maximum limits for iBiznes24 are defined in the Rules for using the iBiznes24 electronic banking service.

Santander Bank Polska kindly informs you that pursuant to 9 § 2(b) of the General terms and conditions of the agreement on access to electronic banking services via the db powerNET system in Deutsche Bank Polska S.A. (General Terms and Conditions of db powerNet), on 12 November 2018 the General Terms and Conditions of db powerNET will be replaced by Rules for using the iBiznes24 electronic banking service.

Business and savings accounts

  • The pricing conditions specified in your agreements with Deutsche Bank Polska will not change.
  • The abbreviation “db” will be removed from the names of all business accounts.
  • Fees and charges for transactions will be debited collectively at the end of each month, rather than after each transaction (except for fees for: FX transactions, withdrawal of consent to a direct debit, revoking a direct debit instruction before its execution, return of funds paid under a direct debit, and sealed cash deposits).
  • If you change your price tariff, all fees and charges payable for the calendar month when the change was made will be calculated and collected at the rates for the new tariff.
  • The name of the service: “Preparing a copy of account history” (“Sporządzenie odpisu obrotów na rachunku”) will change to “Preparing account history”. The manner in which charges for this service are calculated will change as well: instead of PLN 25 for each 20 items started, PLN 20 will be collected for each account history month started.
  • The charge for standing orders which were placed via Teleserwis will be collected at the rates applicable for transactions ordered via electronic banking services (the rate will be lowered in line with your package).
  • You will be able to change your price tariff to one offered by Santander Bank Polska free of charge.
  • The name of the db collect service will be changed to “Electronic Debtors Identification” (“Elektroniczna Identyfikacja Należności”). Reports on transactions made on and after 9 November 2018 will be available in the electronic banking services of Santander Bank Polska.
  • The name of the service “Accepting an order to disable an account, report an identity document as stolen or lost, etc.” (“Przyjęcie zlecenia zastrzeżenia rachunku, dokumentu tożsamości, itp.”) will change to “Using the DZ reported documents system to cancel blank cheques and cheques and revoke their cancellation, report documents as stolen or lost and cancel a report, disable and re-enable accounts, etc. (regardless of the number of documents reported/ cancelled/ disabled)”. The fee for these services will be lowered from PLN 40 to PLN 2

Transfers

  • Ways of transferring money will be enriched.
  • The amount of a transaction will be debited from an account at the moment of ordering payment rather than at the moment of its execution.
  • Cut-off times for payments will be changed to those applicable in Santander Bank Polska (more details can be found at www.santander.pl).
  • Transfers which used to be ordered via Teleserwis will now be executed via electronic banking services and at all branches of the bank.
  • Transfers ordered at branches will be executed immediately and in the customer’s presence. The charge for instant execution of a transfer at a branch will be abolished.
  • All transactions ordered before 12 November 2018 with a future execution date will be executed in line with the instruction. After 12 November 2018, transfers with a future execution date will be available only in electronic banking services.
  • In the S, M, L and XL packages, Elixir transfers in PLN (including transfers to ZUS and the Tax Office) and outgoing SEPA payment orders made from the main account using electronic banking services will be free of charge. The limits for free transfers and additional packets of domestic and European operations will no longer apply. In the remaining packages, all charges for transfers made at branches and via electronic banking services will remain the same.
  • Express Elixir transfers, BlueCash transfers and Przelew24 transfers will be available in the Mini Firma and Moja Firma plus electronic banking services.
  • The charge for SORBNET transfers below PLN 1,000,000 will remain the same (PLN 40), but it will be divided into a basic charge (PLN 20) and an additional charge (PLN 20).
  • Transfers made at the request of the enforcement authority, or other authorised institution will be regarded as transfers made at a branch. The charge will remain the same.
  • Transfer orders related to instructions to terminate an agreement/ a bank account will be executed free of charge.
  • All letters with direct debit orders should be sent to the following address: ul. Tomasza Zana 39, 20-601 Lublin, II p. strona B, Zespół Obsługi Rachunków, Santander Bank Polska S.A.

Cheques

  • Cheques issued by Deutsche Bank Polska SA will be accepted.
  • By 9 May 2019, all cheque books issued to customers will be replaced with cheques of Santander Bank Polska.
  • As of the day of transferring the demerged part of Deutsche Bank Polska to Santander Bank Polska, cheques in foreign currencies and cheques that do not specify the currency will be no longer issued. All such cheques issued before that date have to be cleared with Santander Bank Polska by 9 May 2019.
  • The bank will lower the charge for accepting a cheque drawn in PLN for collection from PLN 25 to PLN 20.
  • Cheques will be cancelled free of charge.

Cash Turnover

  • It will be possible to use cards issued by Deutsche Bank Polska to withdraw and deposit cash in the ATMs of Santander Bank Polska.
  • The cash centre (Centrum Obsługi Gotówki) and branches will not accept sealed cash deposits on 8–9 November 2018 and on 9 November 2018 respectively. Processing of sealed cash deposits at the cash centre (Centrum Obsługi Gotówki) and branches will be resumed on 12 November 2018.
  • Starting from 12 November 2018, agreements on handling sealed cash deposits will be coordinated by relationship managers.
  • Sealed cash deposits will be accepted if their currency is eligible for cash turnover in Santander Bank Polska. The list of eligible currencies can be found at www.santander.pl.
  • Sealed deposits will be credited to accounts before they are counted, at the moment of accepting a cash package at a branch or at the cash centre (Centrum Obsługi Gotówki). The amount credited will be equal to the amount specified on the bank deposit slip. The deposit amount will be blocked on the account until all funds are counted. It will be unblocked no later than on the next business day after the deposit is made.
  • Any potential differences between the sealed deposit amount specified in the bank deposit slip and the actual amount of funds in the cash package will be posted after the deposit is counted (the account will be credited with the amount of the surplus or debited with the amount of the deficit).
  • The additional charge for depositing more than 50 coins will be increased from 0.6% (min. PLN 20) for deposits made at branches and 1.2% for sealed deposits made at the cash centre (Centrum Obsługi Gotówki) to 5% (min. PLN 10) regardless of where the deposit is made.
  • It will be possible to use cards issued by Deutsche Bank Polska to deposit cash free of charge at more than 800 devices from the network of Santander Bank Polska. Cash deposits via the Euronet network will no longer be available.
  • It will be possible to use cards issued by Deutsche Bank Polska to withdraw cash both from Euronet ATMs and from the ATMs of Santander Bank Polska. Fees for cash withdrawals from the ATMs of Santander Bank Polska will be the same as the existing fees for cash withdrawals from the ATMs of Euronet and Deutsche Bank Polska.

Term deposit accounts

  • The names of the existing term deposit accounts will be changed.
  • The rules on which term deposit accounts are provided will not change. The interest rates on term deposit accounts will remain the same as specified in your agreements.
  • The interest on overnight deposits will be accrued on the first day after the end of the contractual period which is not a bank holiday.
  • Starting from 12 November 2018, term deposit accounts of Deutsche Bank Polska will be no longer available and negotiated term deposits will not be renewed.

Account statements

  • The name of the service “Preparing a copy of an account statement” (“Sporządzenie odpisu wyciągu”) will be changed to “Duplicate account statement”. The charge for that service will be reduced from PLN 15 to PLN 5.
  • Account statements for November 2018 will be sent by Santander Bank Polska and will include one list of transactions for the period ending 9 November 2018 and another list of transactions for the period from 10 to 30 November 2018.
  • If no transaction that changes the account balance is made in a given period, an account statement for that period will not be sent.
  • The form and frequency of sending account statements will not change. The fees for account statements in some packages will be reduced in line with the enclosed Schedule of fees and charges collected by Santander Bank Polska S.A. for banking services provided to business customers.
  • The fees and charges for transactions debited collectively at the end of each month, rather than after each transaction, will be presented in the statement in an aggregate amount.
  • The account statement will specify the account balance after each transaction.
  • Transactions effected after 12 November 2018 will be presented in the following order:
    • from the oldest to the most recent one, according to their date;
    • within one day: first credits to the account from the lowest to the highest amount, then debits from the account from the lowest to the highest amount.

Cards

  • Card PINs will not change.
  • By 9 May 2019, all cards of Deutsche Bank Polska will be renewed as, or replaced with cards offered by Santander Bank Polska.
  • If your card is damaged, lost or stolen, you will be issued a new card offered by Santander Bank Polska.
  • The services of emergency cash withdrawal outside Poland and issuing a replacement card outside Poland will be discontinued.
  • If your card has been blocked because of wrong PIN entry, you will be able to unblock it via the electronic banking services or via the helpline of Santander Bank Polska.

Foreign currency transactions

  • Fees and charges for foreign currency transactions will not change.
  • When ordering an international payment, customers will select one of three available execution methods:
    • 1. Standard execution: a payment order execution method in which:
      • in the case of payments in EUR made to European Economic Area member states and SEPA payments: the account in the payee’s bank is credited on the next business day after the order is placed by the customer;
      • in the case of other payments: the account in the payee’s bank is credited on the second business day after the order is placed by the customer.
    • 2. Fast-track execution: the account in the payee’s bank is credited on the next business day after the order is placed by the customer. The fast-track execution method will be available only for selected currencies: for EUR if the payee’s bank is located outside the European Economic Area; for PLN, USD and GBP; and, if enabled in the electronic banking services, for CAD, CHF, CZK, DKK, HUF, MXN, NOK, RON, SEK, TRY.
    • 3. Express execution (formerly known as the execution of instructions with a D+0 value date and available only for USD and EUR): the account in the payee’s bank is credited on the same day on which the order is placed by the customer. The express execution method will be also available for PLN and GBP; and, if enabled in the electronic banking services, for CAD, CHF, CZK, DKK, MXN, NOK, SEK and TRY.
  • Cut-off times for all methods of payment will be changed to those applicable in Santander Bank Polska (more details can be found at www.santander.pl).
  • Fees and charges for foreign currency transactions will not be higher than the current ones. Fees will be converted at the average NBP rate.
  • It will be possible to negotiate the rate for selected incoming payments in foreign currencies.
  • It will be possible to execute a SEPA payment at a bank branch.
  • The OUR cost option will be made available for all foreign currency payments. The bank will provide new foreign currency transaction services: receiving a message copy for each foreign currency payment (the so-called electronic payment order confirmation) and execution of incoming MT101 messages.
  • The following products and services will be discontinued: banker’s cheques, collection of cheques, sending other SWIFT messages at the customer’s request.

Trade finance transactions

  • The fees and charges collected for trade finance transactions (guarantees, letters of credit, collections) executed before 9 November 2018 will not change until those transactions expire.
  • The individually agreed rates of fees and charges for trade finance transactions will continue to apply until the expiry of the agreements in which they are specified.
  • New trade finance transactions, ordered after 12 November 2018 under agreements with Santander Bank Polska, will be subject to the fees and charges set out in the applicable Schedule of fees and charges collected by Santander Bank Polska S.A. for banking services provided to business customers.
  • You will receive the terms and conditions of letters of credit and collections at the time of the first transaction made on or after 12 November 2018.

Credit products

  • Terms and conditions of loan agreements signed to date will not change.
  • The bank will not collect commitment fees for working capital loans sanctioned on or before 9 November 2018.
  • The late payment interest rate on overdrafts and debit lines of credit will be changed. If the penalty interest rate set out for the unpaid (overdue) amount of the overdraft/ credit line in the overdraft/ credit line agreement is based on a rate higher than three times the amount of the lombard loan rate, the bank will accrue that interest at a lower rate, i.e. based on three times the amount of the lombard loan rate and not higher than the maximum late payment interest rate specified in Article 481(2) of the Polish Civil Code.
  • Statements/information on the amount and payment date of the next loan instalment will not be generated.

Financial Markets, Treasury Transactions, Online currency exchange platform

  • All existing agreements will remain in force.
  • New entries will be added to key definitions set out in the Terms and conditions of foreign exchange market transactions in Deutsche Bank Polska S.A. for business customers (“Regulamin Transakcji Rynku Walutowego w Deutsche Bank Polska S.A. dla Przedsiębiorców”).
  • An option to select the method of effecting a transaction (by phone or by electronic means of distance communication) will be added to the Terms and conditions of foreign exchange market transactions in Deutsche Bank Polska S.A. for business customers.
  • The service of transactions by dealers will not change.
  • Customers using the Mini Firma electronic banking services will gain access to an online currency exchange platform (Kantor Santander).
  • Customers using the Moja Firma plus or iBiznes24 electronic banking services will gain access to an online currency exchange platform (Kantor Santander and e-FX respectively) after contacting a bank advisor or a dealer.

The helpline numbers will remain the same.

3. Will the Teleservice still be available?

The Teleservice will be available at the same number 801 18 18 18 but you will not be able to execute transactions via the helpline. This service will be replaced by a wide range of online and mobile service channels. The Mini Firma, Moja Firma plus and iBiznes24 platforms are so versatile that you will be able to execute most transactions on your own.

4. Will all certificates issued at customers’ request after the transfer of the carved out business of Deutsche Bank Polska S.A. to Santander Bank Polska S.A. be available in branches or on the electronic banking platform?

All certificates will be available in branches and selected ones also in the electronic banking system.

Please be informed that the brokerage services currently rendered by Biuro Maklerskie Deutsche Bank Polska S.A. will be transferred to Santander Bank Polska S.A. – Santander Biuro Maklerskie, following the integration of the demerged business of Deutsche Bank Polska S.A. with Santander Bank Polska S.A. (former Bank Zachodni WBK S.A.). Also, please note that Santander Bank Polska S.A. is finalising the purchase of a stake in DB Securities S.A. so as to incorporate this entity into Santander Bank Polska Group. Platform Upon integration, the db Makler platform changed its name to Makler.

Functionality The functionality of the platform will remain unchanged.

What is not changed?

  • Website: from 12 November 2018, you will be automatically redirected from www.dbmakler.pl to bm.santander.pl, and form www.dbsecurities.pl to santandersecurities.pl.
  • Online platform: Makler (former db Makler) will be available at the current address: dbmakler.pland after the integration of the demerged part of Deutsche Bank Polska S.A. with Santander Bank Polska S.A. (12 November 2018) also at bm.santander.pl with the same log-in procedure and functionalities as before.
  • Call Center: telephone numbers will not change.
  • Branches:the existing network of branches providing brokerage services will not change. The list of branches and opening times is available at bm.santander.pl.
  • Existing fees and charges will not be changed.

What is changed?

  • Brokerage services will be rendered substantially on the same terms and conditions as before. Changes in regulations will involve mainly the names of the brokerage service provider and its agent, which will not affect customer service.
  • Santander Bank Polska S.A. – Santander Biuro Maklerskie will replace Biuro Maklerskie Deutsche Bank Polska S.A. as a party to the agreements signed with customers.
  • DB Securities S.A. changed its name to Santander Securities S.A., which means that going forward your brokerage account will be maintained by Santander Securities S.A.
