Statement of the KDPW Operations Department re: registration of BZ WBK shares

With reference to the information provided on 28 August 2012 (current report no. 32/2012), Bank Zachodni WBK S.A. (“the Company”) hereby informs that on 28 August 2012 it received the statement from the Operations Department of Krajowy Depozyt Papierów Wartościowych S.A. (National Depository of Securities, “KDPW”) stating that in accordance with the Resolution no. 620/2012 of KDPW Management Board, dd. 22 August 2012, KDPW will register 1 561 618 ordinary bearer shares, series I, with the par value of PLN 10 (ten PLN) each, on 30 August 2012.
The total number of Company shares coded PLBZ00000044 after the registration: 74 637 631.
