KBC Group NV and KBC Bank NV - notification

Bank Zachodni WBK S.A. (“BZ WBK”) hereby encloses the notifications we obtained from:

• KBC Group NV and
• KBC Bank NV

on 9th January 2013 on the number of shares directly acquired by KBC Bank NV and indirectly acquired by KBC Group NV due to a merger of BZ WBK with Kredyt Bank S.A. (“Merger”) and the percentage share in the total number of votes gained because of Merger, i.e. notifications on exceeding 15% of the total number of votes at the general meeting of the shareholders of BZ WBK.
