Financial Stability Committee ("FSC") notification of the amount of an additional own funds requirement for Santander Bank Polska S.A. by way of the buffer requirement for other systemically important institutions

With reference to the report no. 27/2019 dated 17th September 2019, the Management Board of Santander Bank Polska S.A. ("Bank") informs that the Bank received a decision of the Financial Stability Committee ("FSC") issued on 23 September 2019 at the request of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority ("PFSA") within the framework of the administrative proceedings conducted by the PFSA regarding the review of the adequacy of the other systemically important institution O-SII buffer imposed on the Bank.

In the aforementioned decision, the FSC expressed a positive opinion on the imposition on the Bank the O-SII buffer, equivalent to 0,75% of the total risk exposure amount calculated in accordance with art. 92 par. 3 of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) No. 575/2013 of 26 June 2013 on prudential requirements for credit institutions and investment firms, amending Regulation (EU) No. 648/2012 ("CRR").
